Can I get any money while I learn?

EMA

Some people can get an EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance). It depends on your family income – if it’s less than £30,810 you should get between £10 and £30 a week.

Learner Support Fund

If you have money problems you may get help from the school or college Learner Support Fund. It may also be known as an ‘access’ or ‘hardship’ fund.

Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit

Your parents will be able to claim Child Benefit for you and they may also get Child Tax Credits

Care to Learn
